Good Shell Bought for my 11 year old. Altrec customer service went way above and beyond to get it to me in time for a backpack trip and is hugely appreciated (thank you Shane). Reason for 4 star is that the mesh lining sticks to the velcro, making it a bit of a pain every time my son has to zip up. Otherwise, is light and comfortable and great looking. Definitely need layers for colder weather, but that is what a shell is for. Perfect the way the hood disapears into the collar when not needed. Fits true to size. Would Would buy again and definitely from Altrec.

awesome North Face is exceptional in quality and Altrec carries so many of their products. I have never been disappointed with Altrec's service and delivery time. Their prices are usually the best I can find or close enough to make the sale worth it. In this particular jacket, the size S fits my 7 year old son just right. Not much room for growth but I can pass it down to my younger son next year.
